MVD Entertainment Group is proud to announce a distribution deal with Ziggy Marley’s Tuff Gong Worldwide (TGW). The new partnership includes all physical and digital rights for North America for the extensive TGW catalog, which includes Grammy-winning releases Love Is My Religion, Family Time, Ziggy Marley in Concert and more.

Tuff Gong Worldwide was founded in 2006 as an offshoot of the original Tuff Gong label, which was founded in 1965 by Bob Marley with the vision of producing, distributing, and promoting his music free from the constraints of corporate label politics. Decades before artist-owned record labels were commonplace, the legendary Bob Marley’s vision was characteristically well ahead of its time. Now, nearly a half-century later, his dream is being realized. Today, Ziggy Marley is a completely independent artist – owning all his master recordings since 2006 and all his compositions with Isthi Music – his publishing company. Marley’s robust business goes far beyond music, into book publishing, film, and television. For more information, visit

Ziggy Marley is an eight-time Grammy winner, Emmy winner, musician, producer, activist, and humanitarian who has cultivated a legendary career for close to 40 years. The eldest son of Bob and Rita Marley, Ziggy has forged his own path as a musical pioneer, infusing the reggae genre with funk, blues, rock, and other elements through mindful song-craft. Equal parts master storyteller and motivational guide, he explores issues from environmental awareness to self-empowerment, and social injustice to political inequity, while returning again and again to the transformative power of love. Using his success to champion political and philanthropic causes, Ziggy initially served as a Goodwill Youth Ambassador for the United Nations and participated in Bob Marley Foundation initiatives worldwide. He later expanded his ambitions by founding his own charity, U.R.G.E. (Unlimited Resources Giving Enlightenment), a non-profit organization whose mission ranges from building new schools to operating health clinics, supporting beneficiaries including Food for the Homeless and Chepstowe Basic School (both in Jamaica), and HOLA (Heart of Los Angeles).
